The 6th Member Assembly and the 1st Council of the Shandong Textile and Apparel Industry Association were held in Yantai on May 19, 2026. During the meeting, Wang Miao, the secretary of the Party branch of the Shandong Textile and Apparel Industry Association, was elected as the new president of the council, and proposed that in the future, efforts would be focused on "cultivating the soul, consolidating the foundation, strengthening the chain, improving quality, and enlightening intelligence" to promote the industry towards higher-end, intelligent, and green development.
